Students

Students receive free help from any of our volunteers whenever they need it. They can request help in almost every subject, allowing them to get through assignments and homework with the aid of an experienced peer. Simply sign up and start learning!

Tutors

Our tutors consist of high achieving high school students interested in giving back to the community. If you are interested in tutoring, feel free to create an account and request to become a tutor. We will send you the materials necessary for you to begin tutoring shortly.

How It Works For Students

Students must sign up if it is their first time on the website or login if they are returning members.

To access GROUP LESSONS, select the group lessons tab on the navigation bar and check out our courses.

To access ON DEMAND help, scroll above tutors on the menu bar and go to our find tutors page.

Insert all the necessary details and submit your request for help.

Or if you want a specific tutor, go the Tutors page and look for someone with active status. Contact them using our website's chat feature in the bottom righthand corner of the screen. To contact the tutor you want, go on our chatting service, simply select "New Chat" and then search for the name of tutor you want.

Group lessons will be conducted certain days at certain times. We will contact you with all the information once you sign up for a specific course.

For our on demand help, one of our instructors will contact you in a few minutes and will send you a link of a zoom call you can join immediately.

For our group lessons, we will run many zoom or google meet calls over a certain period of time which students can attend and get information.

For our on-demand help, join the zoom call sent by the instructor on the chatting feature and ask the questions you have to your instructor.

How It Works For Tutors

Tutors must sign up if it is their first time on the website or login if they are returning members. Remember to select the option "Request to be a tutor" while signing up.

Wait for us to contact you about your approval.

*With Rapid Instructor, tutors can volunteer when they are free. There are no schedules.

When you are ready to volunteer, go to the Tutor Dashboard page and make yourself active. If it is your first time tutoring, select New Tutor on the Tutor Dashboard page and fill out some questions to fill your bio.

Stay on the Tutor Dashboard page and wait for student notifications to show up. When a student notification pops up, select Accept and contact the student using our website's chat feature in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. To contact the student on our chatting service, simply select "New Chat" and then search for the member you accepted. You may also be approached by a student through the chat feature. Feel free to take sessions with them as well.

Create a zoom call and share the link with the student you accepted. When the student joins your zoom call, start tutoring and when you finish, repeat steps 4 and 5 until you are ready to log off. Remember, you are volunteering your time and will be awarded volunteer hours based on the time you spend tutoring
